The first weekend of June 2017 was a busy one of peacebuilding for PeacePlayers, as the City Jam Tournament took place in Northern Ireland and the City Wide Tournament was held in South Africa.
PeacePlayers Northern Ireland had more than 150 children and their parents from all sides of the city of Belfast come together to participate in games at Queens University on Saturday. You can read more about the tournament in this great article that was published in today’s Belfast Telegraph.
Also, PeacePlayers South Africa recently shared some great pictures from their City Wide Tournament that was also on Saturday. They had over 500 participants together from 16 primary schools and 7 high schools community teams.
Please take a minute to check out highlights from both events and share the great work that PeacePlayers continues to do in using sport bridge divides, develop leaders and change perceptions.
