Born and raised in McLean, VA and started playing basketball at the age of 5. Graduated from Bishop O’Connell in Arlington, VA. During his time he participated in 116 career victories and finished his Senior year with First Team All-Met honors and unanimous First Team WCAC All League. He went on to play 4 years of collegiate basketball at the University of Maryland where he led his team to the NCAA tournament his Senior year and was awarded CO-MVP honors. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Leadership Studies. After college he went on to play professional basketball in Northern Ireland where he also achieved a Post Graduate Degree in Sports Management. Along with playing basketball and studying in Northern Ireland, he was also able to work within the community to coach basketball for the Youth. David and his wife (Vanessa Neal) currently live in Jerusalem with their daughter Keagan Zayn.
