Jade George joined PeacePlayers Baltimore in the fall of 2017 as a Lead Coach. This position
allowed Jade to facilitate practices, participate in basketball leagues, and encourage team
bonding amongst participants. Given Jade’s work ethic and dedication she was soon promoted
to the Assistant Coordinator role to help expand the vision of the Baltimore location.
Jade is a graduate of Bowie State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in
Biology and Rutgers University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
While in college Jade mentored and tutored students ranging from elementary school to college.
Jade spends her days educating the youth as a Baltimore City Middle School Science Teacher.
At the tender age of 8, Jade had the opportunity to run AAU Track and Field with the Baltimore
City Track and Field Club. Eventually Jade was introduced to basketball. Learning she had a
natural talent for basketball, Jade continued playing through high school. She expanded her
athleticism by being a part of the cross-country, field hockey, and track teams. Her experiences
showed her, her capacity for leadership and helping those around her succeed. These
experiences led Jade to continue running track and field during her collegiate career as well as
