Nora joined PeacePlayers full-time in July 2017 as the Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, after previously being with the organization as an intern and a consultant.
In 2017, Nora earned an M.A. in International Affairs, with a double concentration in International Affairs & Development and Global Gender Policy, from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. While pursuing her degree, she completed a fellowship at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, France, working with the organization’s Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme, focusing on gender equality and women’s rights. Prior to starting her Master’s program, the San Francisco native worked in the high-tech and biotech industries in Silicon Valley.
Nora holds a B.A. in French from Middlebury College, where she played varsity soccer for four years and helped the team to a NESCAC championship and a Sweet 16 appearance. She is also a former player for the San Francisco Nighthawks of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and Football Féminin Chênois GE (now Servette FC Chênois Féminin) in Geneva, Switzerland.
